One in three graduates who have recently completed a master of arts degree are unemployed in Denmark, according to government statistics.
Employment numbers from January, published by the Danish member organisation for academics, Akademikerne, show an unemployment rate of 29.9 per cent for MA graduates within their first year of graduation.
However, this drops steeply to just 3.5 per cent unemployment for those who took their degrees more than a year ago.
