Three scientists, from France, Italy and the UK, have been named joint winners of the Grete Lundbeck European Brain Research Foundation’s 2014 Brain Prize.
The annual Danish prize, worth €1 million, has been running for four years. Stanislas Dehaene, Giacomo Rizzolatti and Trevor Robbins were named as this year’s winners on 10 March, for their work on higher brain function.
Denmark’s crown princess will present the scientists with their prizes at a ceremony in Copenhagen on 1 May.
