The Danish growth fund Vaekstfonden has committed to providing loans totalling up to €126 million to start-ups, in an agreement with the European Investment Fund.
Vaekstfonden has also agreed to assist banks in providing a total of up to €2.7m to small-scale entrepreneurs in Denmark, with a particular focus on supporting entrepreneurs that are typically excluded from more traditional banking services.
It is hoped that together these commitments will provide easier access to financing for over 500 enterprises in Denmark.
