Copenhagen helps political science graduates transition to business

The University of Copenhagen’s department of political sciences has established a forum with Danish industry to assist its graduates.

The forum, announced by the university on 24 March, aims to increase cooperation between companies and students and improve job opportunities for political science graduates.

“There is no longer the same amount of growth in employment in the public sector as there has been historically, and this means that more political science graduates will look for new career paths, instead of following the traditional path into public administration,” said Jens Søndergaard, senior vice president of the shipping company J. Lauritzen and a member of the forum.
