The Nordic research funder Nordforsk has launched the first call under its Nordic University Hubs programme, which seeks to boost collaboration between universities.
Each university consortium must include institutions from at least three Nordic countries to apply. Funding provided by the programme will cover research exchanges, workshops, seminars and conferences.
Each group can apply for funding up to 10 million Norwegian kroner (€1.1m) per year for the period 2018-20, and kr5m per year for 2021-23. Universities are expected to contribute twice the amount of funding sought.
