Researcher in Denmark have won 3.7 billion Danish kroner (€500 million) from Horizon 2020, the government has announced.
In a statement on 7 December, the government said that Denmark had reached its target of funds won from the EU research programme. It added that Danish researchers faired particularly well in the area of ICT.
Since the launch of Horizon 2020 in 2014, a total of 825 projects with Danish participation have been funded. This amounts to 2.5 per cent of the funding available, the government said.
