The income of the Advanced Technology Group (GTS) of research organisations dropped by 4 per cent between 2015 and 2016, the group’s annual report has warned.
The GTS’s revenue was 3.6 billion Danish kroner (€480 million) last year, the report, published on 20 September, said. The drop from 2015 was mainly due to a 10 per cent decrease in overseas commercial revenue, it said. However at the same time, commercial revenue from within Denmark increased by 8 per cent.
The report also found a drop in the number of collaborative projects that GTS institutes participated in—from more than 1,000 in 2012 to 759 in 2016.
