Research academies and post-doc scientists have received €23 million from the Academy of Finland.
The academy funds 30 academy projects and 21 postdoctoral researchers. The research council received 164 applications for the post-doc research posts, which is a 10 per cent increase from the previous year. Out of these applications, 12,8 per cent received funding.
The success rate for the academic projects was 12.5 per cent. The average amount of funding per project is around €590,000.
