Norway to write ocean research strategy

Norway's government announced that it is putting together an ocean research strategy on 11 October to boost the country's international standing in marine research.

Under the auspices of the Norwegian research council, the “Hav21” (Ocean21) strategy steering committee, made up of scientists and representatives from industry, will work to come up with recommendations for government departments.
