Norwegian universities get innovation funding

Tora Aasland, Norway’s education minister, announced 4.45 million kroner (€570,000) for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship among students at six of the country's universityies.

In a statement published on 11 November, Aasland said: “The government wishes to contribute to the creation of an entrepreneurship culture. Personal qualities and attitudes of students need to be strengthened so that they are better equipped to collaborate, be creative, able to withstand adversity and trust their own choices. I look forward to seeing the results of this initiative.”
