10 million kroner for Norway’s university museums

The Norwegian government announced 10 million kroner (€1.3m) in funding for the country's university museums on 25 August.

“University museums play a central role in research into our cultural and natural heritage and provide knowledge for cultural heritage and nature management. It is therefore important that the collections are taken care of,” said Tora Aasland, Norway’s research minister.
