Norway increases collaborations with US and Canada

Joint publishing between Norwegian researchers and their counterparts in the US and Canada has more than doubled since 2003, according to a recent bibliometric study, the Norwegian Research Council announced on 30 August.

“The study shows that it pays for both Norwegian and American scientists and institutions to collaborate on publishing. Cooperation increases the quality and impact,” said Berit Johne, the council’s special adviser for North American cooperation in research.
