Norwegian fraud case sent back for investigation

A scientific fraud case in Norway has been referred back to the university college where it is alleged to have occurred, reports Forskerforum.

Norway’s National Commission for the Investigation of Research Misconduct (Granskingsutvalget) decided at a meeting on 12 September that the University of Oslo and Akershus should investigate the case itself. Ann Elizabeth Wedo, the college president, says an ethics committee will be established at the university to investigate the case.
