Professors’ pay rise fastest in Norway

Professors at Norway’s universities have seen their salaries grow faster than other academic staff over the past five years, reports the researchers' union ForskerForum.

Professors’ salaries grew by 27.5 per cent between 2005 and 2010 according to government statistics. College and senior lecturers saw their salaries grow by 22.3 per cent and 23.9 per cent respectively over the same period.
