Norway’s university colleges get research leg-up

The Norwegian education ministry has allocated just over 24 million kroner (€3.2m) to support research cooperation between Norway’s universities and its university colleges.

Kristin Halvorsen, the education minister, said on 2 August that she expects the institutions to use the funds to build strategic research environments and create clearer scientific profiles.
