Norwegian health research gets boost

Norway’s government has earmarked 26 million kroner (€3.6m) over four years to practice-based research for the health and welfare services, the education ministry announced on 21 August.

Kristin Halvorsen, education minister, called for better links between research, education, practice, and end users at the launch of the project, which Norway’s Research Council will coordinate.
