Union wants binding plan for more research cash

Norway's researcher union has called for the government to increase the country’s investments in R&D.

Forskerforbundet issued the call on 2 August in response to data from the Norwegian research council showing that the percentage of Norway’s GDP invested in R&D fell from 1.78 per cent in 2009 to 1.69 per cent in 2010.
