A Knowledge Centre for education research has opened its doors in Norway, with the goal to improving education practices in the country.
The aim of the centre, established by the Research Council of Norway on behalf of the ministry of education, is to gather national and international research data that is relevant to kindergartens, schools, higher education and adult education.
“The Knowledge Centre will help us to collect, organise and exploit the increasing amount of knowledge about education,“ said education minister Kristin Halvorsen, adding that the centre “will be a central and critical contributor to educational policy”.
