Mars probe fails to reach orbit

A probe launched by Russia on 9 November failed to reach orbit, reports China’s state news agency, Xinhuanet.

The Phobos-Grunt probe separated from the Zenit-2SB launch vehicle but failed to use its own booster to reach the intended orbit.
