Science Europe seeks new boss

The association of research funders and performers Science Europe is looking for a secretary-general, following the resignation of the incumbent Stephan Kuster.

Science Europe announced its search for a replacement for Kuster on 13 February. It has posted a job advertisement for a candidate with strong leadership and networking skills and familiarity with European research policy.

The secretary-general will develop Science Europe’s strategy and policies together with its governing board and then lead on their implementation, the advertisement said. The chosen candidate will head Science Europe’s Brussels office and be its spokesperson and advocate.
