Negotiations risk stalling without ‘more political dynamism’, says Michel Barnier

The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator has expressed dismay at the sluggish pace of negotiations on the future relationship between the bloc and the UK.

“If we want to make tangible progress, we need to move beyond clarifications and put more political dynamism into proposals aimed at building compromises,” Michel Barnier (pictured right, with UK counterpart David Frost) said following the second round of negotiations on 24 April.
