Commission president announces plans for biomedical research agency and tackling climate change

Maria da Graça Carvalho, a former academic turned MEP who is a member of the European Parliament’s research committee, welcomed von der Leyen’s announcement that the Commission plans to create an EU agency for biomedical research and development.
