EU sets sights on more graduates learning abroad

               

Commission wants huge increase in university graduates studying away from home by 2030

The European Commission wants to raise its target for how many university students study abroad, even though it is some way off the current target for higher education mobility.

The current and longstanding EU target is for 20 per cent of graduates to have studied abroad, but this has not yet been met; just 15 per cent of the bloc’s graduates have currently ventured to institutions away from their home nations.
