Council conclusions call for more links with research and for automatic mutual recognition of qualifications

Efforts to strengthen the EU’s European Education Area policy package should be “stepped up”, the bloc’s member state governments have agreed.

The EEA is an initiative through which the EU member countries and the European Commission work together to improve national education systems and their interconnections.
