Most research ministers back greater coordination on issue seen as increasing problem for EU

EU research ministers have called for the bloc to take more unified action to prevent and respond to foreign interference in member states’ international research and innovation collaborations.

“Joint EU action is desperately needed here,” Dutch research minister Robbert Dijkgraaf (pictured left) said in a meeting with counterparts on 23 May, at which research security in international collaboration was debated.
