Warning against “naivety” over risks from international collaboration ahead of key EU meeting

The EU must not disrupt global R&D collaboration as it moves to strengthen its efforts against foreign interference, research groups have said.

On 23 May, EU research ministers will discuss “knowledge security and responsible internationalisation”, with a preparatory note stressing the need for the sector “to avoid being naive” about the risks of collaborating.
