EU and Chile agree to cooperate on research into raw materials

   

Move is part of wider deal on raw materials needed for clean energy and digital transitions

The EU and Chile have agreed to cooperate on raw-materials research and innovation, as part of a wider deal between the two.

The bloc announced on 18 July that internal markets commissioner Thierry Breton had signed a deal with the Chilean government on establishing a partnership on sustainable raw-material value chains.
