Council presidency draft text says evidence “should play a more significant role”

EU member state governments are due to discuss the development of evidence-based policymaking in the bloc, before adopting a ministerial stance on the issue.

A draft set of conclusions has been drawn up by the January-to-June Swedish presidency of the Council of the EU governments and will be discussed at a meeting on 11 July.
