The European Chemicals Agency has launched a cloud version of its Iuclid data management tool for use by small and medium-sized companies.
Companies can use the tool to complete an application to manufacture or import chemicals on their web browsers without having to install the Iuclid software, the agency said on 1 August.
The tool helps companies to register their chemical substances under the EU’s REACH regulation—which is required of anyone manufacturing or importing more than one tonne of substances per year.
