Brexit-related staff losses continue at medicines agency

Steps being taken to mitigate impact of Brexit-mandated move from London to Amsterdam

The European Medicines Agency has lost a further 6 per cent of its staff since June in connection with its move from London to Amsterdam as a result of Brexit, it announced on 4 October.

Only 730 staff are now available to the EMA, it said in a report of an October board meeting. This is down from 776 staff at the start of June.
