Lease signed on new, tailor-made premises in Amsterdam

The European Medicines Agency signed a lease agreement on 15 November for its bespoke new office building in Amsterdam’s Zuidas area, which should be ready for staff to move into in January 2020.

That move will be the final step of the EMA’s relocation to the Netherlands from London as a result of the UK’s departure from the EU. The agency closed its London office on 1 March, and staff have since been working from a temporary office in Amsterdam Sloterdijk.
