Lobby group seeks support for clinical trials, data sharing and manufacturing
Europe-based drug companies have criticised the European Commission’s recently published pharmaceutical strategy for failing to do enough to promote development in the sector.
“Unfortunately, the roadmap does not contain the necessary drivers of innovation to realise its own ambition of supporting the industry in Europe to be a world leader,” the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations said in a 3 July position paper calling for greater EU support for their industry.
