Parliament science panel rows back on EU medicines report

Paper recommending joint procurement, new developer incentives and joint infrastructure “was published prematurely”

The European Parliament’s science advice panel has rowed back on a report it released last month on improving access to new medicines in the EU, saying that the paper was published prematurely.

In a post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (Stoa) said the study report was “prematurely and erroneously published…before finalisation and before adding methodological clarifications”.
