‘Scope to broaden data flows between EU and South Korea’

             

Announcement from Commission follows similar verdict on EU data exchange with Japan

There is scope to broaden the flow of data between the EU and South Korea, according to the European Commission.

It said that at a meeting on 11 April, one of its representatives and the chair of South Korea’s personal information protection commission agreed to “further develop the framework for Korea-EU data flows”.
