Uppsala research world class, and getting more so

Research at Uppsala University north of Stockholm is improving in quality, according to an evaluation handed to vice-chancellor Anders Hallberg on 21 November.

The evaluation, undertaken by a series of independent expert panels, deemed just short of 90 research areas at the university ‘world class’. This is an improvement from the last evaluation from 2007 where more than 50 areas were judged to be of the highest standard.
