Stena AB, the Swedish ferry company, has donated 12.5 million kroner (€1.3m) over a five-year period to develop accountancy research and education programmes for the School of Business at the University of Gothenburg, it was announced on 22 December.
The private Torsten Söderbergs foundation has donated 6m kroner in scholarship funds to strengthen research environments at the business school.
