Researchers in Swedish and Danish universities will work with 15 small and medium-sized companies to develop their business ideas through the Creating Competitive Jobs project.
The companies will work at two Swedish and three Danish universities for half a year, and will develop business ideas that could generate job opportunities. The chosen companies will cover topics such as water treatment using algae, LED lighting and food protection.
“There is a mix of companies from different areas and we are pleased to see the that so many have applied,” said Caroline Hansson, project leader for the programme at the University of Lund. “It shows that there is large interest for cooperation between academia and businesses.”
