Uppsala plans challenge-based research

Uppsala University has published a strategy outlining its priorities for research to tackle societal challenges for the next four years.

Uppsala’s university leadership established nine priority research themes on 26 October. These include antibiotic resistance, digitalisation, e-health, medical technology, immigration and smart materials.

Other points of emphasis mentioned in the strategy include good access to research infrastructure, more international cooperation, and an attractive and inspiring working environment for researchers.
