Formas, the Swedish research council for sustainable development, has opened its first call in the country’s ten-year climate research programme.
The call, worth 46.5-million Swedish kronor (€4.8m), will focus on climate change and ways to tackle it. “Scientific knowledge and climate efforts concern multiple actors and are often complex issues that are constantly developing,” the council said in a statement on 10 May.
The aim of the call is to map out existing knowledge about climate change and actions needed to tackle it in the future.
