The EuroScience Open Forum 2018 will take place in July that year in the French city of Toulouse, the organisers of the event have announced.
The Université Fédérale Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées won the bid to host the event, EuroScience, a grass-roots scientists’ organisation, said in a statement issued on 2 December.
The forum, which was first held in 2004 in Stockholm, gathers together about 2,000 scientists every two years. The purpose of the event is to increase knowledge exchange and debate among policymakers, researchers, universities, industry, and the media.
