The European Commission has launched its 2014 survey to estimate progress on the European Research Area.
This is a follow-up to the 2012 ERA survey, which has been “substantially streamlined”, the Commission said in a statement. The aim is to identify what remains to be done before the ERA is "complete", a state that was initially meant to be achieved by 2014, but looks increasingly unlikely.
The survey is open to organisations until 21 March. Data from individual organisations will not be made public.
