Move to engage young scientists in Italy

An network of 12 Italian universities and research centres has formed to promote international research collaboration and exchanges.

Announced on 13 January, the network will be funded with €50,000 from the Association of Italian Foundations and Savings Banks (ACRI) and coordinated by the University of Udine.

The network falls under the ACRI’s Young Investigator Training Program, launched in 2015 to support young researchers from not-for-profit universities or research institutes to work at Italian research organisations for a month during 2016. Participating researchers can come from other EU member states or international countries.
