A foundation that will support research, student exchange and joint cultural projects between Latin America and Europe was signed into life yesterday.
The EU-LAC Foundation, which aims to bring EU countries closer to the 33 Latin American and Caribbean countries, was created by the signing of a joint agreement in Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic. The two signatories were Federica Mogherini, the EU’s high representative for foreign affairs, and Miguel Vargas, foreign minister of the Dominican Republic.
