Cost still biggest barrier to university, students say

Current solutions ‘not sufficient’, according to European Students Union

The European Students’ Union has called for the abolition of tuition fees and introduction of other measures to make university accessible for students, in conjunction with World Access to Higher Education Day on 26 November.

“Financial accessibility remains one of the major barriers” to access, the union said.
