EU-based scientist and engineer numbers increased by 4 per cent, bloc’s statistics agency reports
The number of EU-based scientists and engineers increased by 4 per cent in 2018, according to the bloc’s statistics agency.
The total number of scientists and engineers in the EU aged between 25 and 64 was estimated at 17.2 million in 2018, Eurostat announced on 30 August.
