Integration plan aims to help migrants fit in faster to benefit them and their hosts
An action plan on the integration of migrants in the EU, unveiled by the European Commission, includes an aim to facilitate faster recognition of qualifications attained outside the bloc.
“Facilitating the recognition of qualifications acquired in third countries, promoting their visibility and increasing comparability with European/EU qualifications while offering bridging courses to help migrants complement the education acquired abroad, is key to a faster and fairer inclusion of migrants into the labour market,” according to the plan, published on 24 November.
