Disadvantaged students from Erasmus+ partner countries could be missing out, study finds
An initiative to help disadvantaged students take part in the EU’s Erasmus+ academic mobility programme is falling short, a study by the University of Barcelona and the European University Association has found.
The focus on disadvantage in the International Credit Mobility (ICM) scheme for non-EU countries partnered to the programme is “much weaker than that intended by the European Commission”, study researchers Luisa Bunescu, Howard Davies and Michael Gaebel said in a report published by EUA on 19 February.
