‘Enormous’ Erasmus+ problems causing ‘delays’ and ‘confusion’

University groups raise alarm over funding flows from EU’s academic mobility programme

Serious problems are being experienced around the funding of student exchange visits for the 2021-22 academic year through the EU’s Erasmus+ academic mobility programme, according to higher education organisations.

On 3 December, a group representing education organisations calling itself the Erasmus+ Coalition published a statement saying that, since the start of the academic year, education institutions across Europe “have been facing enormous challenges related to their participation in the Erasmus+ programme”.
