Spending steers planned as bloc prepares to pool ‘more funds than ever’ for education

The European Commission is recruiting education economists and other experts to help it advise EU countries on their education spending over the coming years.

A call for applications to join the planned expert group opened on 19 February, the day EU education ministers met to discuss equity in education and training, Covid-19 challenges and the European Education Area (EEA) policy initiative to improve education standards.
