Commission appoints experts on AI and data in education

    

Group will be tasked with developing ethical guidelines for using self-learning software

The European Commission has named the 25 members of an advisory group that will shape EU guidelines on the use of data and artificial intelligence technologies in education.

The group, which will meet for the first time on 8 July and up to three more times before it disbands in April 2022, includes 15 individual experts, six sectoral bodies, a startup company and three intergovernmental organisations.
